# Change name, colours and crest
> How to change your team's name, abbreviation, colours and crest.

From the team screen you can change how your team looks. The whole roster sees the changes.
## How to do it
1. Open **My Teams** and pick the team.
2. Tap **Edit team**.
3. Change the **Name** (up to 20 characters) or the **Abbreviation** (3 letters from A to Z, with no accents and no Ñ).
4. For the colours, tap the **Colours** row, pick one of the 12 combinations and tap **Done**.
5. For the crest, tap **Change crest**, choose a JPG, PNG, WebP or SVG file up to 5 MB, crop it and tap **Use this crest**. Then tap **Done**.
6. Tap **Save changes**.
## Good to know
* The rules are the same as when you [create the team](/en/teams/create-a-team).
* A Manager does not see the **Edit team** action. Roles are covered in [Team roles](/en/teams/roles).
## If something goes wrong
* If the file isn't an allowed type or size, choose another one.
* If the app can't save the changes, it tells you. Try again in a few minutes.
