The President and Managers can add players by name before they have the App. Until they join with their account, the President or a Manager answers for them.
Who can add them
- In My Teams, open Invite players and tap Add players without the app.
- Enter their names. You can add up to 10 at a time, and only as many as there are open places.
Each player without the App takes one of the roster’s 30 places. Known substitutes do not take a place. Invite players.
Share their personal link
When you add them, the app shows a personal link for each player. Each link is for one person, works once and expires after 24 hours. To get another, open the player’s details and tap Generate new link; the previous link stops working.

Answer for them in the convocation
Players without the App appear at the end of each group with the label No app · Starter. While they are pending, the President or a Manager can tap Confirm and choose a shirt under the match’s rules. They can later use Drop to move the player to Out, or Restore to return them to Still waiting for confirmation and confirm them later.
They do not receive any notifications until they join with their account.
How an answer given by someone else appears
An answer the President or a Manager gives for someone else shows who gave it: confirmed them. The label stays until that person answers the convocation themselves. If the team drops them, the usual label says who dropped them.
How the person joins
When they open the personal link, they see their name, the team and who added them. They can then install the App and sign in to join as that player. They can also open the team link and, after signing in, choose their name from the list.
They keep their account and cards. That account takes the player’s roster place as a starter and gains their existing answers, shirts and matches played. The no-app marker disappears, and the account’s name and photo then appear on the team. The welcome says which player they joined as and shows their next match.
Undo a join or merge players
For 7 days after the join, only the President can tap Undo join if someone chose the wrong name. The player without the App returns to the roster with their current answers, and the person stays on the team as a member.
If the person joined separately as a starter or Manager, the President can merge them with the player without the App from the player’s details, using Merge players. The person keeps their account; it gains the player’s matches played and answers for matches that have not ended and that the member has not answered. If both were confirmed for the same match, it counts once. The merge cannot be undone.
Change a name or remove a player
Before someone joins with their account, the President or a Manager can tap Edit name in the player’s details. Only the President can tap Remove from team.
If they had not joined with their account when they were removed from the roster or the team was deleted, finished matches keep the name the team entered. Last modified on November 1, 2026
